In response to what you said, I really like Dan's Forum and don't want it to close (though I know you said that as well). What makes you think it is not successful? The lack of members? I come here to chat very often, as do you whenever a topic, reply, etc. is made. It's a good thing that should not die. But, as long as you are planning to keep the forum, topics, posts, etc. - but just combine it into one thing, then I guess that's fine. Like you said, it would make maintenance easier for you and might attract more attention. By the way, what is the other project of yours that you are thinking about merging this forum with?

Also, I'm sorry I wasn't available on Friday. Getting my mom situated is taking a little longer than we expected. Today (Sunday), a nurse or whatever will visit our home and discuss with us what needs to be done, what routines we need to establish, etc. My dad is also going to be off for the next week or so. It might be a few days before we have established a routine, but when things are situated properly, I'll let you know so we can hang out. As I said, I'm sorry for the delay, but my mom has been hospitalized, and she just needs to be tended to properly.

I understand.
As for the other forum, it's not open yet, so, can't show it yet, but it's more of a community based site. Dan's forum will have it's own section to find home in, and it will have access to a whole spectrum of new features, like the video upload system that was originally designed for this forum, and other stuff.

That sounds cool. Is that like the OurTube thing you were talking about?

In a sense, yes. But it's not the same code I was using at that point.

Is the transition going to happen anytime soon?

transition is still in progress, feature list for the other forum is very big.
Once the new "community" is made, hopefully everyone will be happy with it. :)

Is this transition supposed to make the forums popular again?
