Yup that's right. We've been in the part of the year I call spam season for a few weeks now. Some tips for dealing with spam/spammers. Don't delete anyone's account unless they actually post spam on the board. Delete the spammer before deleting the spam. That way you can stop them from posting.
Any more questions about the subject? Pm me.
Cheers.
-Daniel

Thanks.

By the way, I happened to notice there was a new user that registered - VeryFunnyGirl. I'm not sure if she's a bot or whatever. You might want to look into it.

I took a look yesterday. I removed the website in her profile and censored two of her interests. I'm keeping an eye on it.
By the way, the ip that the user registered with is Russian.

I just sent a pm to VeryFunnnyGirl regarding the content I removed from the profile. I hope that doesn't cause the board to be spammed. If it does I will have to install a new spam filter, or add a moderation queue for new members.

I've been keeping a close eye on the logs lately.
Today so far i've noticed a guest from Israel, and a guest from Russia were trying to post.
First only registered users can post, which the guest from Israel was trying to do. Second our guest from Russia was trying to post in the Site Announcements. Even if the user was registered, only admins can post there. I don't know why we seem to be having this problem lately, but i'm checking into it.
