And it scared the crap outta me! A few weeks ago, I was curious to see if the thing would work or not, so I plugged it into the outlet with my usual four extension cords (yes, I have to keep as far away from that thing as possible). For the moment, I was pleasantly surprised, as the TV turned on normally (the last few times I tried turning it on, it wouldn't power up).

Then, I left for a moment to get my VCR/DVD combo to hook up, and when I came back, I noticed a slight burning smell. It worried me a little, but then again, I realized the heater was on, so I ignored it. But just a few seconds after I hooked up the VCR/DVD combo and turned it on, I actually heard crackling noises. The burning smell was worse than before, and I was really starting to get nervous.

I looked behind the TV and started to see smoke and what I thought was a tiny orange glow on the back of the CRT. I ran like hell out of that room and hurried upstairs and heard a really loud sound. It was like a balloon popping - but a lot louder and a lot deeper. That scared the hell out of me, too, and then, I nervously went back down to the basement. I heard crackling sounds and smelled an awful lot of smoke. Sure enough, there in that room were the burning, charred remains of the TV. The walls were mostly black, and all over the room were shards of glass and various other internal TV parts.

Lesson learned...do NOT mess with old '60s TV consoles with tubes.

If that weren't bad enough, my recently purchased Packard Bell Platinum Supreme 1665 seeped water and green slime when I turned it on. It then grew mechanical legs and ran out the front door, went to the nearest gas station, filled itself with gas, set itself on fire, and exploded.

I know, I've learned my lesson...  But seriously, sometimes I just can't help myself. It's a Packard Bell for goodness' sake. They're so sexy... But I guess I can try to go to counseling for those destructive impulses...as well as those I have for Dodge Dynastys...

Trust me, the Dynastys are NOT nasty! They're got sharp, clean lines that make it stand out in the crowd and look professional and business-like. And that, combined with a light, shiny champagne-colored paint job and shiny silver wheels make it quite an attractive car in my opinion. But apparently, most everyone hates the Dynasty. Sad. I gotta admit, though, that the purple ones are absolutely hideous...

And if you think I would rape a Packard Bell, I think Billy Coore would jizz himself at just the sight of a Packard Bell!

I believe DyNASTYs are usually owned by pedos, who have stashes of floppy disks locked in a safe. :)

Going on somewhat of a tangent, my dad never actually owned a Dynasty since it was a company car. Second, he has stashes of CDs locked away. The ginormous amount of porn he has is way too big for floppy disks :D

Maybe I'll turn into a pedo if I get a Dynasty. Then again, I might already be one. Take a look at the hundreds of pictures of girls I have on my comp. and hard drive...

first of all, I didn't say your dad, you just fucked yourself over there.
