Yes, as of now, the Mascola house finally has Wi-fi access!
Earlier this morning, I bought a Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band Router (WNDR3400). I thought it was the best one suited for my needs and price. I set it up an hour or two ago, and so far, it seems to work great. I can even get a decent signal in the basement.
So far, I have the router set up on a temporary basis. I set it up through my Dell Dimension 4400 desktop and will later disconnect it before my dad gets back. Hopefully, if he doesn't mind setting up his computer with the router, we'll have a permanent wireless network.
